Regional consultations wrap up

As part of the development of the 2014-2017 strategic plan, CMHA Ontario board members and CEO Camille Quenneville spent several weeks in April and May travelling across the province to hear first-hand from local CMHA staff and board volunteers.

The goal of the eight regional consultations was to gauge what our members envision for the future and what they’d like CMHA Ontario to focus on as it develops the next strategic plan.

At the same time, one-on-one interviews were conducted with leaders from mental health and addictions organizations in Ontario.
The feedback received from these consultations and one-on-one interviews is now being compiled and examined to determine if any common themes have emerged that can help guide CMHA Ontario’s strategic plan process.

Once analysis of the feedback is complete, CMHA Ontario will engage the broader public for input.

CMHA Ontario will broadcast details of the public engagement on Facebook and Twitter and our biweekly newsletter, Mental Health Notes.
