Doing Whatever It Takes:
Ethics in ACTion
Individuals who work in community mental health regularly encounter ethical issues as they provide care for people with severe and persistent mental disorders. These ethical dilemmas can involve many aspects of a person’s life from both clinical and social services within their community. As front line clinicians, how can we prepare ourselves to ensure the rights and welfare of vulnerable individuals without breaching confidentiality or overstepping personal boundaries?
This conference offers a professional development opportunity to engage community mental health clinicians in advancing results based, best practice methods and knowledge to provide answers to those challenging questions. Attendees will participate in over 30 workshop sessions as well as poster presentations.
