The Royal’s Conference on Women’s Mental Health
TRAUMA & RESILIENCE

How will you help a woman cope with trauma?
How should that trauma influence mental health treatment?
How can a woman build resilience for her own well-being?

A woman’s unique experiences, particularly trauma or challenges in her life, can have a significant impact on her mental health. Providing the best mental health care to female patients means taking into account these experiences, as well as the biological and social factors inherent to being a woman.

The Royal’s fourth annual Women in Mind Conference will focus on Trauma and Resilience, providing essential knowledge for today’s healthcare professionals who are the first line of support for women with mental illness.

Women in Mind is bringing together leading researchers and practitioners to share essential knowledge about topics including trauma-informed care and resilience, medication management of bipolar disorders in women, and the mental health aspects of cancer.

Join us for one of Canada’s only academic conferences devoted to women’s mental health.
