March 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
The Royal, 1145 Carling Avenue, Auditorium, 1st Level; Ottawa, Ontario
Presenters: Members of The Royal’s Client Empowerment Council
At this event, clients living with mental health issues will share what they do every day to address their mental health and how they participate in their care which leads to their recovery. For example, some clients speak of a recipe or a number of activities they engage in to help them function as best as possible. The belief is that if you take control of your own mental health and become part of your own treatment plan, you will succeed and enjoy recovery.
The Pathways to Resiliency conference will take place at the Hilton Toronto on April 2, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The conference will engage individuals from multiple sectors in discussion on the mental health and well-being of children and families. Topics include perfectionism, anxiety, stress, resilience, emotional intelligence, attachment and the impact of technology on mind and mood.
