Bell funds first anti-stigma chair at Queen’s University
On February 7, 2012 Bell and Queen’s University announced a $1 million research initiative to help fight the stigma associated with mental illness. Dr. Heather Stuart has been named as the first Chair; she is a renowned Queen’s professor, known internationally for her multi-disciplinary work developing and disseminating best practices in stigma reduction.
This generous donation is part of Bell’s $50 million commitment to Canadian mental health.
