The Centre for Innovation in Peer Support is seeking input on how it can better connect and facilitate the work of peer support researchers in Canada and around the world.
During the Peer Support Canada Conference in Calgary in May 2018, leaders in peer support research and evaluation came together for an evening community of practice session. Through that meeting, these subject matter experts determined there was a need for an ongoing community of practice that could streamline access to the information that currently exists and develop new opportunities for peer support research and evaluation in Canada.
The first step to developing this ongoing peer support community of practice is to gather information from key stakeholders in peer support to better understand what’s needed from a community of practice, the work being done in research and evaluation, and how individuals may want to contribute or participate.
Those interested in participating in a peer support community of practice are invited to complete this survey that will help guide the direction of the group going forward.
