Community mental health and addictions agencies and persons with lived experience of mental health and/or addictions services are invited to a free full-day training session on Feb. 15. The Excellence through Quality Improvement Project (E-QIP) is offering a training session on Design Thinking.
The Design Thinking process is a method used for quality improvement purposes, with an emphasis on putting the needs of people experiencing a problem at the core of the process. Through applying Design Thinking tools, program and service design solutions are rooted in real needs and problems, ensuring a client centered approach to improvement work.
Throughout this training session, participants will work through the Design Thinking process from start to finish using a sample problem. Participants can expect to learn how to use a collection of simple and powerful tools that will be immediately applicable to everyday work.
This training session is Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Ryerson University (55 Gould St.). To learn more about Design Thinking and register for the event, please visit the event page. Space is limited so please ensure you register quickly to secure your spot in this E-QIP training event.
