To celebrate the launch of our free Enabling Minds resource, CMHA Ontario invites you to share your accessibility story with us on Twitter. Tweet at @EnablingMindsON and @CMHAOntario, using the hashtag #abetterserve:
- Share how your organization is working toward improved accessibility and #abetterserve for people with mental health disabilities
- Use the Enabling Minds online training resources and tell others how they help your organization to provide #abetterserve
- Tweet positive examples of #abetterserve that have made a difference for your participation in sport, fitness and recreation programs and facilities
The goal of Enabling Minds is to reduce barriers for people with mental health-related disabilities to participate in physical activity programs offered by recreation and fitness organizations.
Learn how your organization can reduce accessibility barriers at EnablingMinds.ca, a free online training resource developed by Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Ontario, in partnership with Parks and Recreation Ontario and YMCA Ontario, with funding from the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario.
