NEW: Rounding-up Research Reports

Starting this issue, we will be including Research Report Round-ups in EENet’s section of Mental Health NotesResearch Report Round-ups are summaries of research reports, presented in a user-friendly format.

Evidence Exchange Network (EENet) has posted two new Round-ups.

The first Round-up“From This Point Forward: Ending Custodial Housing for People with Mental Illness in Canada,” summarizes a report about the custodial housing model and its limitations, which also gives practical strategies for, and examples of, ways to move from this model to the best practice housing model.

The second Round-up, “Simcoe County LGBT Youth Needs Assessment Report: Making It Better Today,” showcases a new report that identifies the needs, issues, and barriers facing lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth in Simcoe County. The report includes responses to online surveys, focus groups, and participatory art methods from 157 LGBT youth, allies, service providers, and educators.
