The risk of substance use and addiction among youth is a priority within Ontario. A new webinar hosted by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health on Wednesday January 31st from 10:30-12 will focus on the findings from the 2017 Ontario Student Drug Use and Health Survey (OSDUHS). The webinar will include the results of the survey, including key trends among Ontario students.
Although rates of substance use have declined among youth, issues such as alcohol, cannabis and tobacco use continue to be a concern, and numerous sectors play a role in addressing these issues. This webinar will provide youth-serving professionals a deeper understanding of substance use trends to inform related activities and services.
The webinar panel will include:
- Dr. Robert Mann, Institute for Mental Health Policy Research, CAMH
- Dr. Hayley Hamilton, Institute for Mental Health Policy Research, CAMH
- Angela Boak, Institute for Mental Health Policy Research, CAMH
