Mental Health Employment Supports Network

The Mental Health Employment Supports Network (MHESN) is a network of service providers in Ontario that deliver employment supports services to people with a mental illness. The MHESN provides a forum for sharing information on employment support issues, services and developments in Ontario that impact individuals with a mental illness. Opportunities for agenda setting, policy research and analysis may be identified as a result of discussion arising within the Network.

The Mental Health Employment Supports Network is open to organizations in Ontario that deliver employment supports services for people with a mental illness. As of January 2013, the MHESN is comprised of over 40 organizations with a membership of over 60 members.

The Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario convenes the network by hosting a list-serv and regular teleconferences. The Mental Health Employment Supports Network will convene by teleconference a minimum of 3 times per year. Occasional in-person meetings may also be organized, based on feasibility of members to attend.
