Services and Supports

Community mental health care encompasses a wide variety of programs and services designed to meet local needs. These programs are delivered primarily by community agencies and sometimes through hospitals or health clinics. The majority of programs provided by community-based agencies are designed to serve the most vulnerable and most severely mentally ill.
