A new collaborative partnership between Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario Division’s BounceBack program and Lumino Health network, an innovation from Sun Life, is ensuring more Ontarians are receiving support with mild-to-moderate symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Lumino Health, Canada’s largest health network, now features the BounceBack program among its resources for stress and anxiety. Likewise, CMHA Ontario is supporting Lumino Health through promotion across the province’s 28 branches on social media.
Lumino Health puts health information in one place, empowering Canadians to make smarter health choices. Its Discovery Lab features over 100 health-care companies and innovators to connect Canadians with innovative products and services to help them live healthier lives.
The Lumino Health network features a Stress and Anxiety Guide, a resource that helps individuals find information, tools and more from Lumino Health and its various partners across Canada specializing in mental health, including BounceBack.
Grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy, BounceBack is a guided self-help approach that is a proven, effective way to help people aged 15 and up who may be feeling low, stressed out, worried, depressed, irritable or angry. BounceBack participants receive telephone coaching, skill-building workbooks and online videos to help them overcome mild-to-moderate symptoms and gain new skills to regain positive mental health.
