E-cigarettes are becoming increasingly popular due to the marketing of their health benefits over regular cigarettes. E-cigarettes are commonly marketed and sold over the Internet. This is an important factor to consider because youth generally spend more time online than older generations. Therefore, the potential impact on youth of the availability of e-cigarettes on the internet is worth examining. Researchers looked at the rate of e-cigarette use among Canadian youth (between 16-30 years). They also examined youth perceptions of e-cigarettes and the factors associated with their use.
