The Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) has released its 2009/2010 annual report. The interactive document covers the MHCC’s key milestones in the past year, including the release of “Toward Recovery and Well-Being,” a framework for Canada’s first mental health strategy, built on extensive cross-country consultations.
Additional highlights include the launch of a 10-year anti-stigma strategy called Opening Minds and the launch of At Home/Chez Soi, a ground-breaking national housing research initiative. The report also discusses advances at the Knowledge Exchange Centre and progress of the MHCC’s eight advisory committees.
