A new podcast by the Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health (CICMH) is hoping to bring attention to important mental health-related topics that may not always be top of mind for post-secondary students, faculty and administration.
The Mental Health on Campus podcast launched Jan. 22 with its introductory episode on the relationship between sleep and mental health. The CICMH team spoke with Dr. Efrosini Papaconstantinou, an associate professor within the faculty of health sciences at Ontario Tech University, and a scientist at the Centre for Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation. Her program of research is embedded in the sleep sciences.
Episode 2 is coming soon and will be focused on men’s mental health.
Mental Health on Campus is available now on Spotify, Google Podcasts, Pocket Casts, Breaker, RadioPublic and Anchor.
CICMH is a unique partnership between Colleges Ontario, the Council of Ontario Universities, the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance, the College Student Alliance, and Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario Division.
