CMHA Ontario’s workplace mental health program, Mental Health Works (MHW), has expanded to CMHA Whitehorse, Yukon. Workplaces in Yukon will now be able to access MHW workshops to gain a greater understanding of mental health and addictions issues.
Mental Health Works trained staff:

- Address specific problems and the challenges and benefits of difficult conversations.
- Examine accommodations and return to work processes.
MHW offers various types of educational sessions, ranging from one to three hours to a full day. Topics covered include awareness about, responding to and collaborating to address mental health and addictions at work. MHW’s training can be adapted to help achieve a company’s goals and sessions are appropriate for all staff, supervisors, managers and union representatives.
