Online registration with Ontario Social Assistance now available

The Ministry of Community and Social Services has created an online application process for four of its programmes: Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, Temporary Care Assistance, and Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities. A section is provided for identifying whether a request is for emergency assistance.
The online application will advise applicants if they qualify financially for a program, however there are other steps required for medical qualification. The online process is only available to persons who have a phone number for call-back; other applicants will need to call for an in-office appointment.
