The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Social Entrepreneurism in Mental Health (SEMH) working group has announced the 2011 competition to find outstanding social enterprises in the Greater Toronto Area that are making inroads in mental health equity. The competition is held in partnership with Ashoka Canada and MaRS Social Innovation Generation.
Cash prizes ranging from $3,000 for first place, $2000 for second and $1000 for third will be awarded to social enterprises who have demonstrated that they are making an impact on the lives of people marginalized because of their mental health.
