A message from Chiachen Cheng, Child & Adolescent, Adult Psychiatrist, Medical Director, First Place Clinic & Resource Centre – CMHA Thunder Bay: For the past 10 years, the Early Psychosis Intervention Ontario Network (EPION, formerly the Ontario Working Group on Early Psychosis Intervention) has been the voice of Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) services in Ontario.
This network unites over 50 programs delivering service in more than 70 communities across the province. EPI practitioners, individuals with lived experience of psychosis, and family members will be coming together from October 13th to 15th at the largest EPI conference in Canada.
I am a Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatrist working in EPI in northern Ontario. As Co-Chair of EPION, I want to personally invite you to attend our pre-conference day, on Tuesday October 13. This one day session is especially designed to bring psychiatrists and psychologists together with our keynote speakers: Dr. Ashok Malla, Dr. Patrick McGorry, and Dr. David Shiers.
To see the preliminary program for the preconference, viist the EPION website.
I look forward to meeting you in October.
Chiachen Cheng
