The Population Health Improvement Research Network (PHRN) at the University of Ottawa, and CHNET-Works! have announced the launch of a new blog “Health as if everybody counted” that focuses on research and practice related to reducing health inequity.
The blog is written by PHRN affiliate Ted Schrecker, with contributions from guest writers. Posts will provide readers with topics relevant to Ontario but drawn from all parts of the globe, with an emphasis on the social determinants of health.
“Health as if everybody counted” is intended to stimulate thought, provoke discussion and advance health equity in public policy and public health practice.
