CMHA Ontario CEO Camille Quenneville recently hosted an evening production of Days of Wine and Roses, a 1958 teleplay currently running at the Hart House Theatre. The play features an all-recovery cast and is a theatrical fundraiser for the Renascent Foundation, a leading abstinence based residential treatment facility in Toronto. “It is stories like tonight’s play and those of the cast that help us in our work to the reduce stigma around mental health and addictions,” Quenneville told the audience. “These stories show those who are currently struggling with a substance use problem that there is hope.”
A revival of the hit TV and Broadway play, Days of Wine and Roses is running until May 23, 2015 at the Hart House Theatre. Each show is hosted by a well-known personality from the world of sports, business, show business and the medical and wellness community, with a cast and crew Q and A post performance.
