The Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) invites persons with mental health issues who are in or have been in the workplace, and who were previously or are currently receiving income benefits, to provide input into their Aspiring Workforce survey, “Workplace Know-How.”
The Aspiring Workforce study was contracted to the Centre for Addition and Mental Health in 2009, with researchers from two universities to provide information about the barriers and solutions to work (re)entry for people who have experienced a mental health issue that disrupted their work life. The survey is gathering knowledge, and identifying gaps and barriers to employment in order to increase labour market integration and job maintenance for this worker population.
Survey deadline is November 25, 2011.
