Project Re-Vision and REDLAB are seeking women with a disability (invisible or visible) and clinicians to participate in a live theatre production. The purpose of this project is to highlight personal stories of living with a disability and the impact of clinicians’ attitudes and actions towards those with a disability. Project Re-Vision is a mobile multi-media lab that uses arts-based methods to question stereotypical understandings of disability and difference that can create barriers to healthcare, education, and inclusion in society.
Selected participants will work together with award-winning playwright Judith Thompson to develop the script and perform the play in Sudbury, Peterborough and Toronto.
Interviews will be held in mid-October. Those selected to participate in the production will be paid and required to attend each of the workshops and performances.
