The Excellence through Quality Improvement Project (E-QIP) is offering a free full-day quality improvement training program that will provide participants with an overview and practical applications of quality improvement methods, tools and techniques. The training, based on Health Quality Ontario & University of Toronto’s IDEAS program, has been adapted to relate to community mental health and addictions service providers. The program will review the purpose and background of quality improvement methods, specific tools to diagnose quality improvement problems within an organization and provide information on how to generate and implement change ideas that can improve client care.
Staff and volunteers from community mental health and addictions agencies looking to gain knowledge in quality improvement methods and tools are welcome to attend these program. All sessions will occur over a full day (from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.), with some pre-work and post-program follow up required from participants. Lunch will be included for all sessions.
