First meeting regional mental health and addiction consultation group

During the first day of Mental Health Week, the North East Local Health Integration Network (NE LHIN) hosted the first meeting of its Regional Mental Health and Addiction Consultation Group, comprised of expert members from across Northeastern Ontario.

 The role of the group is to provide advice to the NE LHIN on the implementation of the province’s 10-year strategy, “Open Minds, Healthy Minds” and on key regional mental health and addiction issues.
