The holidays can be a difficult time for people affected by mental health issues, but they are also a time of tremendous compassion, kindness, and optimism. CMHA Ontario is pleased to provide you with a special, stress-free way of giving while at the same time supporting mental health during the holiday season. Making a holiday tribute gift acknowledges your family members, friends and customers during the festive season in a caring way. When you give a holiday tribute gift, we will send a holiday card to the recipient on your behalf, letting them know that you’ve made a donation in their honour to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario. The amount will not be mentioned.
This unique and thoughtful gift will provide help and hope to individuals with mental health issues and their families in 2014. Your contributions allow us to continue our work on mental health initiatives in justice, suicide prevention, accessibility and equity. We will continue to strive to raise critical awareness of mental health issues, to counteract stigma and shame, and to offer a crucial place to turn when people need help.
Share this idea with your friends, family and colleagues, so they can contribute to mental health as a way of gift giving.
What could be better than the gift of mental health?
