‘Like’ the Aviva Community Fund Facebook page between September 1-7 and support CMHA through Brian Stanton’s No Surrender Hockey Challenge fundraising event. By doing so, you will also be supporting CMHA’s suicide prevention efforts. For every one ‘Like’ of the Aviva Community Fund Facebook page, Aviva will donate $1 to CMHA. Brian holds his annual No Surrender Hockey Challenge event as a way to raise awareness of the stigma that is associated with mental illness and to raise funds for CMHA’s suicide prevention programs and services. He has raised almost $20,000 over the past two years for CMHA and was inspired to organize his hockey event out of his concern for friends, family and colleagues who have been impacted by or have lost someone to mental illness.
Brian’s motto for combining a fundraising event and an important cause is,
“Have fun doing something you love and bring your friends and family together to overcome adversity and celebrate life.”
Help CMHA raise awareness about mental health across Canada. Ask your Facebook friends, family and colleagues to ‘Like’ the Aviva Community Fund and support CMHA and Brian Stanton’s anti-stigma and suicide prevention efforts.
Our targeted goal is 10,000 likes = $10,000!
The Aviva Community Fund 1 Like = $1 Facebook Campaign is a partnership between Aviva and CMHA.
