The Law Commission of Ontario (LCO) is seeking feedback on its consultation paper about how the law affects persons with disabilities. Feedback is sought from the public, including persons with disabilities, service providers, policy makers, lawyers and advocates until November 25, 2011. This feedback will be incorporated into the LCO’s interim report and draft framework, and then a final report in 2012.
This consultation is part of the LCO’s work on the law and its impact on people with disabilities. The goal of the project is to develop a framework to assist in evaluating how new or existing laws, policies and practices take into account the experiences of people with disabilities.
