The Canadian Observatory on Homelessness (COH)/Homelessness Hub has launched the Community Workspace on Homelessness – an interactive space for communities and by communities. This online platform will provide an opportunity for leaders, service providers and policymakers to share information, seek input and guidance from others, as well as have discussions around homelessness. Funded by the Government of Canada’s Homelessness Partnering Strategy, this online community will build on the ongoing research, collaboration and the commitment of many across Canada who want to take steps to end homelessness. The online platform allows community members to meet and learn from one another. Over time, the aim is to make the Community Workspace on Homelessness an active hub of knowledge and the primary destination to exchange ideas.
Participants who join the Community Workspace on Homelessness will be able to:
- start discussion topics;
- pose questions related to homelessness;
- propose new ideas;
- revisit longstanding practices;
- respond to colleagues;
- strengthen local, regional and national networks;
- share resources, tools and research;
- promote events; and
- get in touch with the COH.
The success of the Community Workspace on Homelessness relies on its participants. As more members join and participate, the Workspace will become more valuable.
It is free to register and open to everyone.
