OHRC releases new online training about the duty to accommodate

To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (Dec. 3, 2013), the Ontario Human Rights Commission (OHRC) released a new eLearning module about human rights in Ontario and the legal duty of employers, housing and service providers to accommodate.  Under the Ontario Human Rights Code, accommodation generally refers to needs related to disability, religion, family responsibilities or gender.  This resource provides employers, housing and service providers with information and examples of accommodation. For more information and to view the eLearning module, please visit the Ontario Human Rights Commission website.
