On Tuesday, October 23 the Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA) in partnership with Public Health Ontario; the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care; Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health; and Algoma, Waterloo and Toronto Public Health Units are hosting the first-ever “eHealth Innovations in Public Health” event.
This event is targeted to public health professionals in programming and services delivery as well as IT/IM. The goal of the event is to generate healthy dialogue on the current state of eHealth in public health, to view the issue both at the systems level and at the local level, and showcase innovations on how eHealth has helped to improve public health unit performance in different areas (e.g. data analytics, EHRs, environmental health, family health, community health, outbreak management & communication diseases and PANORAMA).
For more information and registration, you can visit the OPHA site.
