For the 20th year, the “Rendezvous with Madness Film Festival” (RWMFF) will be held in Toronto, from November 9 to 17. Mental illness and addiction are again the focus, with a list of screenings already confirmed.
They include:
- “King Curling” – the story of Truls Paulsen, a curling champion who breaks down from the pressures of national competition and must ultimately make the choice between his health and his love of curling
- “In Pieces” – the story of Paule Baillargeon – wife, filmaker, mother, feminist and artist
- “A Sister’s Call – Rebecca’s 14 year journey to bring back her brother who struggles with paranoid schizophrenia
