The Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) launched a new initiative with ConnexOntario and other local partners recently to offer residents access to substance abuse and mental health services 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week. The Erie St. Clair LHIN investment means people 16 years or older in southwestern Ontario can now call ConnexOntario toll-free number to get support and information on how to access help for mental health and addiction problems.
Canadian Mental Health Association branches in Windsor-Essex and Lambton Kent County are among the organizations involved in this initiative. They are among the roster of agencies available to offer resources when people call the toll-free number seeking help.
If you live in Chatham-Kent, Sarnia/Lambton, or Windsor/Essex you can access ConnexOntario by calling: 1-844-372-5446.
