The Schizophrenia Society of Ontario (SSO) is compiling information on schizophrenia and psychosis in Ontario to create a report that will increase understanding about how the mental health system is meeting the needs of people affected by these conditions. The report will also include the perceptions of individuals and their caregivers on their experiences and quality of life as a result of these disorders. To inform this report, the SSO is requesting direct feedback from individuals and their families living with schizophrenia and psychotic illnesses. Two brief surveys have been created: one for individuals living with either condition, and another for caregivers. All replies will be kept confidential.
Here are the links for both surveys:
For further information, contact Irina Sytcheva, Manager of Policy and Community Relations, SSO at isytcheva@schizophrenia.on.ca or call her at 1-800-449-6367 ext 255.
Completed surveys will be accepted until March 31, 2013. Please help the SSO help those affected by schizophrenia and psychosis!
