The North East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) has sponsored a film at the Shadows of the Mind Film Festival in order to bring mental health issues into the spotlight. 
The movie is based on the classic Belgian book series by Gabrielle Vincent, Ernest & Celestine, and won France’s César Award for Best Animated Feature. It was also nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 86th Academy Awards.
The Shadows of the Mind Film Festival seeks to “bring mental health, addictions and social issues to light” through film. The festival runs in Sue Ste. Marie February 24, 2015 to March 1, 2015.
