Students across Canada are encouraged to apply for Unleash the Noise 2014, the second annual Student Mental Health Innovation Summit in Canada. The summit is entirely student-organized and run and brings together 200 young people from universities, colleges and high schools across Canada to develop innovative strategies and create one powerful voice for mental health. The organizers hope to inspire and empower students to “fundamentally change the way we think about our mental health. Students will return to their respective communities equipped with the ideas and tools that they need to create real and substantial change.”
Unleash the Noise is an initiative of The Jack Project, a charitable organization focused on creating conversations for mental health and encouraging young people to take care of themselves and their peers.
The summit runs from February 28, 2014 until March 1, 2014 at the MaRS Discovery District in downtown Toronto.
