The Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) is hosting an upcoming knowledge exchange event, featuring Dr. Paul Kurdyak. Dr. Kurdyak will be presenting on “Big questions and bigger policy/evaluation work: mental health services research at ICES.” More specifically, he will provide an overview of his mental health systems work at ICES, which looks at psychiatrist supply, adequacy of follow-up, and the burden of mental health and addictions. He will then review ICES’ role in strategy evaluation for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 17th, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Room 208, Health Sciences Building, University of Toronto, 155 College Street. This will mark the second session of IHPME’s 2012/2013 Health Services Research Seminar Series. The next event, scheduled for November 14, will feature Dr. Cheryl Forchuk from the University of Western Ontario.
