The Mental Health and Addictions Leadership Advisory Council is a three-year advisory body created by the Government of Ontario in 2014. The council advises the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care on the implementation of Ontario’s Comprehensive Mental Health and Addictions Strategy.
The 20 members of the new Mental Health and Addictions Leadership Advisory Council represent diverse sectors, including those with a lived experience of mental illness or addictions. CMHA Ontario CEO Camille Quenneville serves as a council member.
